NBA recaps on YouTube

Every game. In colour.

Court Palette turns NBA box scores into colour-swatch recaps. Every game becomes a set of cards in the teams’ colours: the final score, every quarter, the top performers and the one stat that tells the story of the night. The whole game in under a minute.

The Court Palette app

How the recaps get to YouTube

Court Palette is also the name of the small publishing app behind the channel. After each game night it renders the recap videos and uploads them to the Court Palette YouTube channel using the YouTube Data API.

The app is run by the channel owner on their own computer. It is not a public service: there is no sign-up, and nobody else is asked to connect a Google account.

Questions about the app or the channel: courtstatspallete@gmail.com

Google data the app uses

  • Upload videos to the channel owner’s YouTube channel youtube.upload
  • Read the channel’s name and ID, to confirm uploads go to the right channel youtube.readonly

The app does not read, change or delete any other videos, comments, subscribers or account data, and it never sells or shares Google user data. The sign-in token is stored only on the owner’s computer.

Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Access can be removed at any time from your Google Account permissions.
